Restoring from Backups

The first step in the restoration process is determining if the loss is a total system, service, or data loss. Data loss (that is, only certain records or pieces of data are missing from a service) can be due to operator error or database corruption.

Restoring DBS-Based Services

Restoration from a backup for any DBS-based service requires the use of the CygNet utility DBS Restore Backup.
